This was followed by entry onto the Specialist list in Orthodontics of the General Dental Council in 2003. Ovais was then appointed as a Senior Registrar in Orthodontics at University of Manchester Dental Hospital and Hope Hospital, Manchester. During this time he gained the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Orthodontics of the Royal College and accreditation as a Consultant Orthodontist. He is also an examiner for the Speciality Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth RCS) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

He gained Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004. Following various hospital posts Samer joined the orthodontic specialist registrar training programme in Manchester in 2005.
He completed his specialist training in 2008 and also gained a Master of Philosophy from the University of Manchester.

He has since completed his specialist training in orthodontics and gained his M.Orth qualification from both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and England. He has been awarded numerous prizes including the prestigious William Houston Gold Medal for the highest performance in the Edinburgh M.Orth examination in 2016-17. Furthermore, he gained a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Orthodontics from the University of Manchester.
In addition to working at the practice, Hamza also works as a consultant orthodontist in both Manchester Foundation Trust and Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. This allows him to undertake a variety of complex treatments, continue orthodontic research and teaching as honorary member of staff for the University of Manchester. Hamza holds various dental memberships including memberships with the British Dental Association, British Orthodontic Society and he has been invited to lecture nationally for various organisations.
Hamza has gained accreditation from Invisalign and Incognito to allow him to provide a wide variety of cosmetic orthodontic treatment options including lingual orthodontics and invisible aligner treatments.

Sara then completed three years of specialist orthodontic training in the North East. As part of this training she undertook a Masters in Orthodontics at Newcastle University, graduating with distinction and she gained Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Sara is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the British Dental Association.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and son and ticking everything off her to-do list.
